The Crochet Star Stitch Beanie is the softest and most comfortable slouchy beanie ever!
I actually made the first Star Stitch beanie for myself over a year ago. However, I had only crocheted it in one size, and the worst thing is I didn’t take any notes whatsoever of what I was doing.
But this beanie is just too good not to share it with you!
So, after losing my beanie during a visit back home (sigh…), I decided to make myself a new one and this time actually write the pattern down!
I even sat down and sized my Star Stitch Beanie in four different sizes, from toddler to adult. You never know you might actually want to crochet that Mum and Me gift or a family set!

Beanie Construction
The Crochet Star Stitch Beanie is crocheted top-down, mostly working in the back loops only.
There will be almost no seam because we will crochet the beanie in the round, so grab a stitch marker or a piece of different yarn to mark your rounds!
The brim is crocheted directly attached to the bottom of the beanie and it consists of rows of slip stitches made in back loops only.

Countdown to Christmas Blog Hop
The pattern of the Crochet Star Stitch Beanie was featured in the Countdown to Christmas Blog Hop, an awesome event organized by RaeLynn (a.k.a. Itchin’ for some Stitchin’) and Sarah (a.k.a. Ned and Mimi).
Even though this event is over, you can still grab all the patterns featured in the event at 90% of the price that it would cost you to purchase all the patterns separately! That’s a $130 discount!
I tried numerous times to print out your patterns. Large empty boxes appear covering the instructions.
Really? I wouldn’t know why… I’ll try to see if there are any problems with the blog. Thanks for letting me know!
