There’s no doubt that crocheted bucket hats are going to be the must-have accessory this summer! So, let’s make a fun and colorful one with this crochet Dot Square Bucket Hat free pattern in 3 sizes (toddler to adult)!
All you need is some lightweight (DK, #3 Light) cotton yarn in your favorite colors, a little crochet fun, and voila! You’ll be ready for a sunny day on the beach or a picnic in the park.
If you’ve been following the blog for a while, you probably recognized the basic simple circle granny square that I used to make my bucket hats.
The simple circle granny square is really the basic pattern that use for most of my granny square collections.
This means that while I used some plain granny squares, you could actually make your bucket hat with a summer theme, or a spring one, or you could even make one for fall using the Halloween granny squares, or for Christmas, why not?!
Find all the granny squares you can use to make these bucket hats!
