This crochet moon Amigurumi is perfect for making baby mobiles, pacifier chains, stroller toy chains, keychain holders, backpack charms, Christmas tree ornaments, etc.
I first created the pattern of the moon Amigurumi for one of the faces of my Weather Baby Cube, but I’m planning many more accessories!
Depending on the yarn and hook you use, the size of your moon will vary greatly. I tried 4 different yarn and hook combinations, which you can see in the picture below, and I reported the size of each moon further below.

How to Crochet a Moon Amigurumi
Crochet in the round in a continuous spiral.
Make a MC.
Round 1. Sc 6 in MC. (6 sts)
Round 2. Sc inc 6. (12 sts)
Round 3. (Sc inc 1, sc 1) 6 times. (18 sts)
Round 4. (Sc inc 1, sc 1) 9 times. (27 sts)
Round 5. (Sc inc 1, sc 2) 9 times. (36 sts)
Round 6. (Sc inc 1, sc 2) 12 times. (48 sts)
Round 7. (Sc inc 1, sc 3) 12 times. (60 sts)
Round 8. (Sc inc 1, sc 3) 15 times. (75 sts)
Round 9. Sc 2, (sc inc 1, sc 4) 14 times, sc inc 1, sc 2. (90 sts)
Round 10. (Sc inc 1, sc 5) 15 times. (105 sts)
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing (photo 1).
Finishing
Fold your work in half (photo 2), and sew the moon closed. Before closing the moon completely, stuff the moon.
Optional: Embroider the face on one half of the moon.
