Gauge
- For the wreath, with your 5.5-mm (I/9 US, 5 UK) hook, 15 sts per 8 rows in 4″ (10 cm) in waffle stitch;
- For the bow, with your 5.0-mm (H/8 US, 6 UK), 9 sc sts for 9 rows in 2″ (5 cm).

Mistletoe Christmas Wreath – Free Crochet Pattern
Crochet C2C Waffle Stitch Wreath
With your 5.5-mm (I/9 US, 5 UK) crochet hook and light green, ch 4.
With your 5.5-mm (I/9 US, 5 UK) hook and light green, ch 4.
Row 1 (WS). [Dc 2] in first-made ch (the turning ch-3 counts a dc). (3 sts)
Row 2 (RS). Turn, [ch-less dc 1, dc 2] in first st, FPdc 1, [dc 3] in last st. (7 sts)
Row 3. Turn, [ch-less dc 1, dc 1] in first st, FPdc 2, dc 1, FPdc 2, [dc 2] in last st. (9 sts)
Row 4. Turn, [ch-less dc 1, dc 2] in first st, (FPdc 1, dc 2) twice, FPdc 1, [dc 3] in last st. (13 sts)
Row 5. Turn, [ch-less dc 1, dc 1] in first st, (FPdc 2, dc 1) 3 times, FPdc 2, [dc 2] in last st. (15 sts)
Continue to increase until row 13 (WS) (or until the width of your project is enough to wrap around your polystyrene ring) following the same pattern logic as for row 4 on the RS and as for row 5 on the WS.
On row 13, you will have 39 sts.
Make a Rectangle
Row 14 (RS). Turn, [ch-less dc 1, dc 2] in first st, (FPdc 1, dc 2) until you have 2 sts left, FPdc/dc2tog. (40 sts)
Row 15 (WS). Ch 1 (does not count as a st here and throughout), turn. Dc/2FPdc3tog, (dc 1, FPdc 2) until you have 1 st left, [dc 2] in last st. (39 sts)
Repeat rows 14 and 15 until you reach row 41 (WS) or until the length of your work on the longest side is enough to wrap around your polystyrene ring.
Your st count will remain 40 sts on the RS and 39 sts on the WS.
Decreases
Row 42 (RS). Ch 1, turn. Dc/FPdc2tog, (dc 2, FPdc 1) until you have 4 sts left, dc 2, FPdc/dc2tog. (199 sts)
Row 43 (WS). Ch 1, turn. Dc/2FPdc3tog, (dc 1, FPdc 2) until you have 4 sts left, dc 1, 2FPdc/dc3tog. (195 sts)
Keep decreasing until row 53 (WS) following the same pattern logic as for row 42 on the RS and as for row 43 on the WS.
On row 53 you will have 3 sts.
Row 54 (RS). Dc/FPdc/dc3tog. (1 st)
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing and assembly.
Wreath Seaming
With the WS facing up, place the polystyrene ring in the center of one of the short sides, and sew the two long sides together wrapping your work around the ring.
When the long sides are sewn together, align the seams, and sew the two short sides.
Fasten off and weave in your ends.
Mistletoe Branches
With your 3.5-mm (E/4 US, 9 UK) and 5.0-mm (H/8 US, 6 UK) hooks, crochet 6 mistletoe branches as described HERE. You will need dark green for the stems and the leaves, and white for the berries.
Bow
With your 5.0-mm (H/8 US, 6 UK) hook and red, crochet a bow as described HERE.
Wreath Assembly
Start placing the mistletoe branches over the C2C waffle wreath and sew them in place using a length of dark green.
Keep attaching branches until you have the entire wreath covered.
With a length of red, sew the bow.
Weave in all your ends.
