Crochet a decorative bow with this free pattern and make your home ready for the Holidays.
I first crocheted this bow to complete my Mistletoe Christmas Wreath but the size of the bow is perfect for a decorative wall hanging.
You can crochet your bow with red yarn for a bright and cheerful festive bow, or make it in pastel blue or pink for newborn announcements.

Bow Assembly
Fold the main piece by bringing the two short sides to the center of the strip (photo 1). Then, using the yarn tail, sew the last row and the first row together.
Make sure to place the seamed sides over the center of the crochet strip, squeeze it in the middle, and sew it in place (photo 2).
Decide which side of the bow you like the best and let’s call it the RS.
RS facing, place the central tie over the squeezed center of the bow (photo 3).
Turn to the WS and using the yarn tail, sew the short sides of the tie together (photo 4).
Find the middle of the tails (marked by the needle in photo 5) and with a length of yarn, sew it to the WS of the central tie.
