What Yarn Will You Need?
All you need for crocheting this beautiful set of potholders is some DK cotton yarn in different colors.
- I used Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK, which I really like because it has a huge choice of colors;
- but you can use any comparable yarn that you might already have in your stash.
- Or opt for a similar yarn, such as Rico Creative Ricorumi DK.
If you’re using Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK, to make the entire set, you’ll need:
- Soft Fudge (410), 2 balls
- Coffee Bean (411), 1 ball
- Champagne White (403), 1 ball
- Red Wine (416), 1 ball
- Bubblegum Pink (451), scrap amounts
- Pure Black (402), scrap amounts
Round Christmas Potholder Collection
Peppermint Potholder
The Peppermint Potholder was the very first potholder of the collection, so it deserves the first spot on the list!
To make this peppermint, we’ll be working in tapestry crochet in the round, so you’ll be carrying two strands of yarn and alternating between them.
Find out how to crochet this easy potholder HERE.
Gingerbread Cookie Potholder
The Gingerbread Man Cookie Potholder is super easy and fun to make.
This pattern is perfect for beginners. All you need to crochet are a few circles and assemble them into a cute and happy face!

Christmas Pudding Potholder
The Christmas Pudding Potholder is one of my favorites.
Possibly, this is the most complex one of the collection because of all the melting brandy sauce, which you’ll need to sew on the potholder. But it’s totally worth the effort!

Reindeer Potholder
Add one more cute face to your Holiday kitchen decor with this Reindeer Potholder.
As for the Peppermint Potholder, we’ll be using tapestry crochet in the round to make the darker spot on the reindeer’s head.
