Assembly
Sew the cupcake liner with the side with the sl sts aligned with the sps between rounds 5-6 of the granny square. Make sure to slightly stretch the top of the liner so that it covers the muffin (rounds 1-4 of the granny square).
With a length of light blue, embroider the cupcake sprinkles by making a few short sts in the visible portion of rounds 1-4 of the granny square.
Attach the cherry applique on top of the cupcake, and with a length of brown, embroider the stem of the cherry.
