Nordic Reindeer Dishcloth – Free C2C Crochet Pattern

Get your kitchen ready for Christmas with this C2C crochet Nordic Reindeer Dishcloth!

C2C Crochet Reindeer Dishcloth - Raffamusa Designs

For this dishcloth pattern, I used the corner-to-corner (C2C) double crochet stitch, and it would be nice if you already had a bit of familiarity with this technique before you start working on this project.

After the Christmas Bells Square and the Joy Square from last year, I still had a few Nordic-inspired patterns that I wanted to try, including this C2C Reindeer Square.

The size of the crochet chart is the same as for the other two C2C blocks, but this time, I crocheted my square with Sport-weight cotton yarn to get just the right size for a dishcloth.

Of course, feel free to crochet it with DK- or Aran-weight yarn, and use it as an afghan block for a Christmas blanket or pillow!

On the other hand, you could crochet this C2C Nordic Reindeer Dishcloth with the mini-C2C technique. In this case, the resulting square would be much smaller and you could use it as a potholder, a bit like the Nordic Christmas or the Home Sweet Home potholders.
