Crochet this cloud and rain applique to embellish your granny squares, baby blankets, greeting cards, or even T-shirts and clothes!

Cloud and Rain Granny Square - Raffamusa Designs

The first time I attempted a cloud applique was for my Desert Lullaby Granny Squares, which you can see on Ravelry HERE.

However, I was not 100% convinced by what the cloud looked like… So, I made a new one, which is now featured in my Valentine’s Day granny square collection.

To make it look extra romantic (or cheesy?), I changed the raindrops into small hearts while keeping the same base as most of my granny square collections, i.e. the simple circle granny square.

This new cloud applique is puffier and has a lot of bumps all around it to make it look more realistic. For the raindrops, I’ll leave you both options, which are the rain of hearts and the more classic raindrops.
