It’s been a long time (too long!) since I shared my last crochet applique pattern here on the blog. So, today, I am happy to bring to you this quick and easy project. Please, meet my crochet five-pointed star applique!
This star applique works up in literally 2 minutes, and it’s a great way to use up some of your scrap yarn.
Really, any yarn weight with the appropriate hook size will work fine for this pattern!
To get an idea of what size you can expect to get with the yarn you’re going to use, please, scroll further down to the Size section. There, I listed a couple of yarn/hook options and the size of my star appliques.
I think I’ll make a few more of these stars, and then use them to embellish a few filler blocks for a crochet blanket that has been in the works for ages!
But you can use your star appliques to embellish really any project, from headbands, hats, dresses, home decor projects, or to make garlands, or even little Christmas tree decorations.
Pin the free pattern of the star applique to your favorite crochet board on Pinterest or add it to your Ravelry queue!
