Today, I am so happy to share with you this quick and easy pattern for a crochet five-pointed star applique!
This crochet star applique works up in literally 2 minutes, and it’s a great way to use up some scrap yarn.
You can use literally any yarn weight with the appropriate hook size to make all the crochet stars you need!
To get an idea of what size you can expect to get with the yarn you’re going to use, please, scroll further down to the Size section. There, I listed a couple of yarn/hook options and the size of my star appliques.
I think I’ll make a few more of these stars, and then use them to embellish a few filler blocks for a crochet blanket that has been in the works for ages!
But you can use your star appliques to embellish really any project, from headbands, hats, dresses, and home decor projects, or to make garlands, or even little Christmas tree decorations.
