The second pattern of the Tutti Frutti Granny Squares CAL is here and it’s this lovely crochet Strawberry Granny Square!
I had wanted to crochet a simple strawberry square ever since I first made my Strawberry Applique (over two years ago already!).
By tweaking the pattern of the applique a little, I came up with a nice way (i.e. stitch count) to make the strawberry fit in a classic granny square!
So, the good news is that you mix and match this strawberry block with any granny squares you’ve been making for your scrap-busting blanket, throw, pillowcase, etc.

This strawberry square is adorable, and the video tutorial is GREAT. I’m going to join a bunch of these together to make a strawberry sweater for my 2 year old granddaughter ☺️🍓
Thank you so much for sharing.
I love this pattern! I made one into a hanging decoration for my grandma-in-law because she loves strawberries.
