The crochet Basketweave Baby Beanie is here and it is absolutely adorable!

This beanie is made using the basketweave stitch, which creates a very textured and stretchy fabric. The basketweave stitch also creates a sort of double-thick layer which is very soft, so perfect for winter accessories for your baby!

You can couple your basketweave baby beanie with a pair of matching Basketweave Baby Booties! I am also planning to make a baby cardigan and blanket as well with the same stitch, but that’s still a work in progress!

Find more baby patterns here on the blog…

Add this pattern to your queue on Ravelry HERE or save it for later by pinning it to your favorite crochet board on Pinterest using this pin!

For my basketweave hats, I used DROPS Baby Merino.

Feel free to use any comparable sport-weight yarn, such as Katia Merino Baby or Lang Yarns Merino 200 Bebe.

BPdc – Back Post Double Crochet Front & Back Post Stitches Magic CircleMaterials
