Bring some flowers into your kitchen with this quick and easy tapestry crochet Tulips Potholder, the perfect hot pad for your Easter and Spring baking!

As I’m getting ready to leave the Netherlands in one week, I feel like there’s no better goodbye than this little homage to the land of flowers, which I’ve been calling home for the past 8 years!
It’s funny that when I first made this Tulip Potholder last December, I still didn’t know we’d be moving, and definitely didn’t know when.
So, it’s a sort of ironic coincidence that the April potholder of my A Year of Potholders is actually a bouquet of tulips.

A YEAR OF POTHOLDERS
After the Farmhouse Collection of potholders, this year (2022), I decided to share each month one or two tapestry crochet potholders.
I love tapestry crochet for hot pads, trivets, and kitchen accessories because it creates a thick and solid fabric, which is perfect for handling hot pans and pots while cooking.

Keep in mind that the free patterns here on the blog will only have the written instructions, while the PDF and ebook have both written instructions and color charts!
