Tapestry Crochet Eagle Potholder

Today, I’d like to share with you my new pattern for this tapestry crochet Eagle Potholder.

Tapestry Crochet Bald Eagle Potholder - Raffamusa Designs

After getting a couple of e-mails asking for an American eagle pattern, I finally got to work and made a couple!

Obviously, being Italian and living in Europe, I don’t celebrate Independence Day.

However, many years ago, I happened to be in the US on July 4th. And oh man, that’s some celebrating!

I was impressed with how many people were wearing the American colors, and all the flags, accessories, and decorations that were really everywhere.

So, when I got the request to make an eagle, I could totally picture a patriotic eagle potholder with the colors of the US flag.

But again, since I don’t celebrate Independence Day, I also made a bicolor eagle potholder for my kitchen.

Moreover, now that we moved to the mountains in the south of France, it’s not rare to spot an eagle flying around, and they truly are beautiful animals!

Even though I used this tapestry crochet eagle square to make potholders, you could also use the pattern to make blanket squares, wall hangings, bags, etc…

The PDF file includes written instructions and color charts for both the bicolor and multicolor (with the colors of the USA flag) versions of the pattern.
