Learn how to make a single crochet triangle in the round with this free pattern tutorial.
The single crochet triangle in the round is a very useful crochet shape for making Amigurumi, toys, sturdy home decor items, and so much more.
You can choose to crochet your triangle in a continuous spiral as for Amigurumi patterns or join your rounds with a slip stitch in the first st.

Round 3. Sc 2, ([sc 4], sc 4) twice, [sc 4], sc 2. (24 sts, photo 4)
Round 4. Sc 4, ([sc 4], sc 7) twice, [sc 4], sc 3. (33 sts, photo 5)
Round 5. Sc 6, ([sc 4], sc 10) twice, [sc 4], sc 4. (42 sts, photo 6)

Round 7. Sc 10, ([sc 4], sc 16) twice, [sc 4], sc 6. (60 sts)
Round 8. Sc 12, ([sc 4], sc 19) twice, [sc 4], sc 7. (69 sts)
Round 9. Sc 14, ([sc 4], sc 22) twice, [sc 4], sc 8. (78 sts)
Round 10. Sc 16, ([sc 4], sc 25) twice, [sc 4], sc 9. (87 sts)
Continue to grow your triangle by repeating the same pattern logic we followed so far:
- [Sc 4] in the third sc from the [sc 4] from the previous round
- Sc 1 in all the rest of the sts.
When you’re done, fasten off and close the round with an invisible join.
