When some colorful spring flowers meet a good old granny square, the result is an absolutely stunning collection of crochet floral granny squares!
Crocheting granny squares can be such a relaxing and mindful activity. Not to talk about the fact that they are great to use up all those leftover scraps of yarn!
However, after a few granny square blankets and jackets, it feels so good to shake things up a little with some unusual granny square patterns!
I personally love peculiar, textured, and unconventional granny squares. When I find one that I like, I simply dive into it and make one myself. This is why I’ve got an ever-growing pile of granny squares that one day – one day! – will become a blanket.
