This crochet square with no gaps is a slight modification of the solid granny square that I shared a while ago here on the blog.

Also for this square, we’ll mostly be using double crochet stitches, plus a few trebles. But the pattern is very easy and beginner-friendly!
Why No Gaps?
Sometimes, for some projects, you might want to use squares that don’t have any gaps or holes at all, not even at the corners.
This can be the case for potholders, baby blankets, winter garments, accessories, or any project using granny squares.
So, with this pattern, you can still enjoy the fun of crocheting a granny square blanket or pillow and have a nice, warm, and solid fabric!

Nice pattern. No hole no gap
Making pillows with cat motifs for Xmas and the og pattern was not working up well for me, plus it left too many holes where I’d have to sew a lining. This pattern was very easy to follow and the results and clean, tight squares. Thank you!
