- 2.75-mm (C/2 USA, 12 UK) Crochet Hook
- DK (3, Light) Yarn
- Tapestry Needle
- Stuffing
- 2 Safety Eyes, 6 mm

I used Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK (137 yds (125 m) per 50 g) in the following colors:
- Brown – Coffee Bean (411)
- Light Brown – Soft Fudge (410)
- Red – Pillar Red (415)
- Cream – Vanilla Cream (408)
Abbreviations (US Terms)
- Ch – Chain
- Inc – Increase

One increase consists of 2 sts worked in the same indicated st.

Size
Without the antlers and snout, the bauble measures 2.3″ (5.9 cm) in diameter.
Gauge
This pattern is too small to determine the gauge accurately.
Pattern Notes
- Crochet in the round working in a spiral. Do not join rounds with a sl st;
- If the pattern says “sc 2”, you need to sc 1 in each of the next 2 sts.
- (…) – Repeat the instructions within brackets for the indicated number of times.
- […] – Crochet the instructions within brackets all in the same indicated st.
Christmas Tree Amigurumi – Free Crochet Pattern
Bauble
With light brown, crochet a bauble following the pattern HERE. Place the safety eyes between rounds 11 and 12 at 7 sts of distance.
Snout
With cream, make a MC.
Round 1. Sc 6 in MC. (6 sts)
Round 2. Sc inc 6. (12 sts)
Round 3. (Sc inc 1, sc 1) 6 times. (18 sts)
Round 4. (Sc 7, sc inc 2) twice. (22 sts)
Round 5-6 (2 rounds). Sc around. (22 sts)
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing, and make an invisible join.
Nose
With red, make a MC.
Round 1. Sc 6. (6 sts)
Round 2. Sc around. (6 sts)
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing, and close the last 6 sts.
Ears
(Make 2)
With light brown, make a MC.
Round 1. Sc 6 in MC. (6 sts)
Round 2. (Sc inc 1, sc 2) twice. (8 sts)
Round 3. (Sc inc 1, sc 3) twice. (10 sts)
Round 4. (Sc inc 1, sc 4) twice. (12 sts)
Round 5. Sc around. (12 sts)
Round 6. Inv dec 6. (6 sts)
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.
Antlers
(Make 2)
First Half
With dark brown, make a MC.
Round 1. Sc 6 in MC. (6 sts)
Round 2-4 (3 rounds). Sc around. (6 sts)
Fasten off leaving a long tail, and join with an invisible join.
Second Half
With dark brown, make a MC.
Round 1. Sc 6 in MC. (6 sts)
Round 2-4 (3 rounds). Sc around. (6 sts)
Do not fasten off but move to the joining part.
Joining
Continue from round 4 of the second half. working both on the first half and second half (photo 1).
Round 5. Working on the sts of the first half, sc 1 (photos 2-3), inv dec 1, sc 1, leave remaining 2 sts unworked. Working on the second half (photo 4-5), sk 2, sc 1, inv dec 1, sc 1. (6 sts)
Round 6-7 (2 rounds). Sc around. (6 sts)
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.
Finishing
Using the long tail of the first half, seam the two unworked sts on round 4 of both halves of the antlers (photo 6).
Reindeer Bauble – Assembly
Pin the snout in just below the eyes and sew it to the bauble. Before sewing all around, stuff the snout.
Attach the nose in the middle between rounds 3 and 4 of the snout.
Pin the antlers and ears in place on top of the bauble and sew them.
With a length of cream, embroider a few spots in the space between the snout and the antlers.
Fasten off and weave in all your ends.
