Crochet a cute Nordic Christmas tree Amigurumi and add a touch of Scandinavian style to your home decor for the Holidays.
You can use this little tree Amigurumi as a Christmas tree ornament or a gift tag. Imagine it around the neck of a wine bottle for a quick wrapping idea, or attached to your Christmas presents’ boxes.
You could also use your Christmas trees to make a Nordic-style garland or attach it to your keys as a festive keychain.
Crocheting Christmas TRees
This is not the first Christmas tree that I make. The first one was the Fir tree Amigurumi, that I shared during my Christmas ornaments marathon a few years ago.
The Fir tree Amigurumi is fun and jolly. However, I wanted to make a more “serious” tree, with a Nordic or Scandinavian style. Something more similar to my Christmas tree applique but in 3D.
And this is how I got to designing this new Christmas tree Amigurumi!
As a finishing touch, I used some colorful beads to decorate my white Christmas tree and added a hanging loop and a wooden bead decoration to all the trees. But of course, you can have fun decorating your Christmas tree as you wish.

Assembly
Flatten your Christmas tree so that the last tail of yarn is exactly at the fold (see grey arrow in photo 7).
With a length of yarn, sew the corresponding sts on rounds 6 and 11 (see pink arrows in photo 7) to close the gaps (photo 8).
Stuff your Christmas tree making sure to push some stuffing to the tips.
Using the last yarn tail, seam the bottom of the tree.
Weave in all your ends.
Finishing – Optional
Draw a length of cord or white yarn through the center of the tree from the bottom (rounds 15-16) to the top (round 1), and then from the top to the bottom leaving a long enough loop on the top of the tree to make a hanging loop.
Secure the cord on top and bottom by making a couple of knots.
Thread the bottom tails of the cord through the wooden bead and secure it with a knot.
Brush the tails of the cord to make a little tassel.
