The crochet Honeycomb Textured Dishcloth is a fun kitchen decor project for all bee-, beehive-, and honey-lovers!
For this dishcloth, I used the honeycomb textured stitch.
This is a stitch that I created while trying to obtain a nice hexagon/honeycomb texture on one side of the fabric while keeping all the softness of regular half double crochets on the other side.
This means that on the back, you have a solid fabric of half double crochets. Always convenient in a crochet dishcloth, wouldn’t you agree?
Since this pattern uses lots of front post stitches and stitches worked together, it is not ideal for crochet beginners, but perfect for a little more experienced crocheters who are looking for a fun and challenging little project!
A HONEYCOMB KITCHEN STORY
This textured Honeycomb Dishcloth is part of my work-in-progress Honeycomb Kitchen Collection, all inspired by bees, honey, and beehives!
While I’m working on putting together a little e-book, you can already take a look at some of the crochet projects that will be part of the collection.
