Learn how to crochet a super simple and stylish granny stitch triangle scarf with this free crochet pattern with a photo and video tutorial!
This beautiful triangle scarf is very easy to crochet because it only uses basic crochet skills such as the double crochet stitch or more precisely, the classic granny stitch.
To put it simply, you’ll simply turn a half granny square triangle into a staple for your Fall and Winter wardrobe!
Since this crochet scarf is a half square divided along the diagonal, the triangle shape that you obtain is quite deep. In other words, you’ll have a long tip in the middle of your scarf.
Of course, there are ways to “correct” the shape and make a granny triangle scarf with a shorter depth in the middle (in a similar way as for the solid double crochet triangle shawl!).
However here, we’ll focus on a basic half-granny triangle scarf that is perfect for crocheters of all skill levels, from beginners to more experienced ones.
