Christmas Tree Amigurumi – Free Crochet Pattern
Crochet 2 simple baubles (see the pattern HERE) using:
- Light Brown for the Gingerbread Man Bauble;
- Dark Brown for the Christmas Pudding Bauble.
For the Gingerbread Man, place the safety eyes between rounds 11 and 12 at 7 sts of distance.
Icing or Brandy Sauce Applique
(Make 2)
With white, make MC.
Round 1. Sc 6 in MC. (6 sts)
Round 2. Sc inc 6. (12 sts)
Round 3. (Sc inc 1, sc 1) 6 times. (18 sts)
Round 4. Sc 1, (sc inc 1, sc 2) 5 times, sc inc 1, sc 1. (24 sts)
Round 5. (Sc inc 1, sc 3) 6 times. (30 sts)
Round 6. Sc 2, (sc inc 1, sc 4) 5 times, sc inc 1, sc 2. (36 sts)
Round 7. Sl st 1, ch 4, sc 1 in the second ch from hook, sc 2, sl st 2, [sc 1, dc 1], [dc 1, sc 1], sc 2, hdc 1, sc 1, sl st 2.
Ch 6, hdc 1 in the second ch from hook, hdc 1, sc 2, sl st 1.

HOLLY LEAVES AND BERRY
With light or dark green, crochet 2 medium holly leaves following the pattern HERE.
With red, crochet 1 large holly berry following the pattern HERE.
Christmas Pudding Bauble – Assembly
Align the center of round 1 of the brandy sauce applique with the center of the last round of the bauble.
Pin the brandy sauce applique in place over the bauble, and sew it.
Attach the holly leaves and berry on top of the brandy sauce.
Fasten off and weave in your ends.
Gingerbread Man Bauble – Assembly
With a length of red, light green, and yellow, embroider the sprinkles on the icing applique.
Then, attach the icing on the bauble the same way as for the Christmas pudding bauble.
With a length of pink, embroider the cheeks by making a couple of horizontal sts just below the eyes.
With a length of black, embroider the mouth.
Fasten off and weave in your ends.
